Vinyl decals are made with a vinyl cutter and are cut out of a large piece of vinyl. The parts not in the design are removed leaving only the image you want.

Vinyl decals are usually just 1 colour. You can layer multiple colours, however it is quite time consuming increasing the cost.

How to apply:
​

Peel off the backing paper to expose the sticky side of the vinyl

Place the sticker where you want it sticky side down

After rubbing the vinyl and transfer tape firmly into place, peel off the transfer tape to reveal the vinyl decal

​
These stickers take a long time to make because I have to separate the parts you want and don't want, this is why they are more suited to simple designs.

After the artwork is created the time it takes to make 2 stickers is double the time it takes to make 1. That's why for high quantities it's better to get printed stickers.

Vinyl printed stickers are made with a printer that can print straight onto white or clear vinyl. The machine then cuts around the whole design into any shape.

Any design you can create on the computer or photos can be printed and made into a sticker.

How to apply:

Simply peel off the backing paper and stick the sticker where you want it. No transfer tape is needed to apply the sticker because it is in one piece.

Quotes:
​
Creating the artwork for complicated printed stickers can be more time consuming than vinyl decals.
Printing more than 1 of the same design is very simple making it best for large quantities.
